I have spent countless hours helping my family design websites. Not to mention facebook covers and tabs. Recently I re-designed Sweet Paper Trail without much knowledge on how to actually design a blog. Although I did attend Academy of Art University for graphic design, I was never taught how WordPress works. It took me several months of self-teaching to catch on, and many online Lynda classes to master other techniques I wanted to learn. Let me start by telling you, there was no “ONE” place I found all this information and I had to search day and night to find out how to do certain things.

I have picked up a couple tricks on the way however and I am going to use this space to share them with you and hopefully it can be a starting place and a how-to resource for your own blog or website.
